Work hasn’t been going easily the past few days, and all my paintings are fighting back. This piece was very different at the start, and the end result is at best described as a compromise. One for the stack, and not the wall.

I know what you mean about a painting fighting back–working on a couple pieces right now that just aren’t coming together as I’d like. I think I need to start some other ones and come back!
