Charlottetown doesn’t have much public art, and though there seems to be more than there used to be there really isn’t enough. We don’t even have any good street art or graffiti in this town. But if you look hard enough sometimes you may come across something hidden away that you’ve never noticed before. Here are two examples of what might be considered art, or at least art by accident. For those of you who live in Charlottetown would you be able to say where they are?

Box #8 part 3. Long Series.
This is box #8, part 3, of a series of 12×12 inch mixed media paintings that I’ve been working for 2 1/2 years, and so far I’ve done 974. When completed there will be 1000.
Anna’s swirls.
Anna brought these drawing home from school the other day. I’m not sure of the stories behind them but she was very proud of the swirls.
As far as I can make out this is a drawing of Anna holding her little brother when he was a baby. Why her hair is pink I’m not sure. The object on the left is her brothers crib, and the flowers are the ones we brought home from the hospital.
#970 in a Long Series.
