Getting bigger.

I’ve been watching this wasp nest grow larger in a tree in my yard. The first time I saw it it was the size of an apple, and now it’s about the size of a coconut. They work on it all day long adding paper to the outer layers. So far no one has been stung, and if we leave them alone they’ll leave us alone…until they don’t.

For the past week I’ve been watching wasps building their nest in a tree in my front yard. I’ve had much advice on how to get rid of them, and the best advice I’ve received was to leave them alone. I’m actually enjoying watching the hive grow, and so far I’ve not been stung.
