Long Series with Anna's drawing.

Many of my Long Series paintings contain elements that my 4 year old daughter provided. Either directly by drawing on the sheet or indirectly by providing me with material to use for collage. This painting is one she drew on directly, and it is from her early figurative period.

Late Long Series.

I like how elements of collage still show through the heavy areas of paint in this painting. I used many decorative Japanese papers when working on the Long Series, and often I ended up covering most of it.
