I finally finished a painting!

I finally decided to finish one of the paintings I’ve been working on for the past couple of months, or at least to call this painting done. I’ve been enjoying working with oil paint again, and I love the texture, smell, and intensity of oils.

I’ve also been thinking about heading to the hardware store and getting some enamel paints for some more experimenting. If I had to choose two types of paint to work with when painting on canvas or plywood, I would certainly choose artists oil paint or household enamel paint. I’ve never been a big fan of  artists acrylic paint because I can’t get past the plastic look of the stuff.
