Usually when selecting a name for a painting I will sit down and spend some time with the painting, and hopefully the painting will inspire a title. I thought it might be interesting to go looking for a title first and then find a painting that may suit the tile.
I went to one of our bookshelves and selected the book, The Question Of Bruno, by Aleksander Hemon. I flipped through the book until I came to page 161 and the line, Perhaps It Is Important To Know… seemed like a great title.
I’ve selected two paintings, and I’d like you to vote for which painting suits the title best.
- A.
- B.
