My Wednesday Idea for last week was to make two signs that point towards each other, and say Next Arrow. This was a fun, and silly project. Today Sam and I went for a walk and placed the signs on the trail near our house. I placed them in the brush that runs along the trail, and I managed not to fall into the water filled ditch.

As with all experiments You have to hold you breath and give it a try. I think I like this better now.

In my studio, and usually in the middle of the floor there are two globes. My kids like them, and my daughter is especially interested in figuring out the world. Any major world event is often noted on the globe in relation to the location of Prince Edward Island.

I seem to have pattern of doing a couple paintings that I like, and then doing a couple that I don’t like. But it’s the ones that don’t elicit any response from me that annoy me, and maybe the annoyance is a response. I look at this painting and I wonder what does it need? There are many parts of it I like, but I feel it’s lacking a very small thing that will make it better. What is it?
