This small pot is mostly used to hold paperclips, used batteries, and rubber bands. It’s a very beautiful pot that has been in my studio for 15 years, and I’m constantly amazed that I haven’t broken it yet.

There is a bit of everything in this Long Series painting, and the different papers used to make it all held paint differently. I find that the glossy paper with the circus images holds acrylic well but not watercolour bwhich tends to slide, and the artist quality papers I used worked well with all media.
