My wife’s mandolin is in my studio, and there is something remarkably beautiful in the graceful shape of this instrument. I’m not a musician but I seem to be surrounded by them. On Prince Edward Island it seems as if every other person can play something. The rest are often crafts people, visual artists, poets, actors, dancers, or government workers.
