This is me not in my studio, and this is my studio as the sun slowly sets.

Daily Studio Photograph. May 19, 2012.
It’s a holiday weekend in Canada, and in celebration of old Queen Vic’s birthday we went to the south shore. I haven’t made it into the studio today, and I’m heading off to an exhibition opening at the Art’s Guild so my regular photo is on hold. However there was a moment on the beach when I briefly had an artistic thought, and so this was my studio today.
Making Postcards.
I’ve several things on the go in the studio at the moment, and one of my side projects is a postcard exchange. At the moment I’m working on five cards, and they seem to be going slowly. This often happens with me. I’ll putter about slowly, and then all at once I’ll finish things off in a big burst of energy.
Spring has been very nice on Prince Edward Island this year, and my attention has been drawn to the outdoors. I’m spending as much time as I can playing in the park with the kids. But I do have one project in mind that can be done outside, and that is the sorting of paintings that are in storage and need to be broken up, edited, and destroyed. Strange as it might seem this is a project I’m actually looking forward to.
