Today in the studio Sam went all Louis Morris on me. Until now he’s been mostly a splash, dot, spill, kind of guy, but today he started painting long, graceful, and colourful lines.

Me reading a book about Terry Frost. Have you ever heard of him? I don’t think he’s well known in Canada, and I wonder if he’s still remembered in the UK? Good artist though.
