I’m still exploring the camera on my Samsung phone. This photo was altered using the Aviary app, and the effect setting is called Cruz. The original is below.

As I said I’m still exploring the camera, but it is amazing what is available. Is it of any use to me as a painter? Maybe. I have seen some work being done using tablets and phones and I feel it’ still too early to say where it will all go. I do think that someday someone will create something great using a phone, Twitter, and a Facebook page…it just won’t be this painter.

Have you met…Thomas Nozkowski?

Introductions can be wonderful things. You can meet interesting people, and make new friends through an introduction. Sometimes you can be introduced to your new favorite food, television show, or artist. I’d like to introduce you to some of my favorite artists.

The artist I’d like to introduce you to is the painter Thomas Nozkowski.
