Somehow it seems more impressive when I spell it out. One thousand three hundred and twenty five. Even more so if I put it in bold italic type.

Have you met…Valerie Brennan?

An introduction can be a wonderful thing. You can meet interesting people, and make new friends. You can be introduced to your new favorite foods, books, music, or artist.

I’d like to introduce you to some of my favorite artists. Some of whom I’ve been familiar with for years, and other I’ve only recently been introduced to.

The artist I’d like to introduce is the painter Valerie Brennan. Who was recommended to me by David T Miller and Inga Dalrymple.

“I am an Irish artist living in Madrid packing my bags for Cyprus. My studios are small and random as we are often on the move. My work is influenced by that and the work I see every day by the fabulous international mix of painters gracing the pages of my fb. I am the creator of Studio Critical Blog and with great pleasure get to share in the studio process of many a fine painter. I am represented in the US by Giampietro Gallery and in Nicosia, Cyprus by the Apocalypse Gallery where I have solo shows this year. My show “No Chance of Rain” opens Fri May 3 at Giampietro Gallery in New Haven and continues until June 1.”
