Have you met…Vincent Como?
An introduction can be a wonderful thing. You can meet interesting people, and make new friends. You can be introduced to your new favorite foods, books, music, or artist.
I’d like to introduce you to some of my favorite artists. Some of whom I’ve been familiar with for years, and others I’ve only recently been introduced to.
The person I’d like to introduce is the artist Vincent Como.
Lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
“The focus of my artistic practice is an engagement with and investigation into black, as presented through a predominantly two-dimensional aesthetic. This includes but is not limited to: black as proprietary color/pigment – the mark used for description or obfuscation, black as darkness – the phenomena or event of light’s absence, and black as matter – the physical manifestation of objecthood, including black holes and universal dark matter.” VC
