An introduction can be a wonderful thing. You can meet interesting people, and make new friends. You can be introduced to your new favorite foods, books, music, or artist.
I’d like to introduce you to some of my favorite artists. Some of whom I’ve been familiar with for years, and others I’ve only recently been introduced to.
The person I’d like to introduce is the artist Vincent Romaniello.
“After working in San Francisco for 14 years for publications including The Bay Guardian and Metro
Magazine, Vincent moved to New York City where he concentrated his studies on painting at the School of Visual Arts and the New York Academy. He has exhibited his artwork nationally and
internationally including the Biennale Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea, Florence, Italy;
Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia, PA; Roger Smith Gallery, New York, NY; Butters Gallery Ltd., Portland OR; Bentley Projects, Phoenix, AZ and the University of Wisconsin-Stout, WI.”
“Experimentation is key to my practice. New directions in my work come from observation of the world around me, both the macro and micro. Reading, research and the use of new materials and methods usually follow. For my work to be successful it must be unique and be a trigger for questions and further thought.” VR
