#980 Long Series.

#980.

I’ve reached #980 in my Long Series of 12×12 inch mixed media paintings. I am 20 paintings from completion. The series is almost done , and I’m getting kind of excited by the idea finishing this project. I’ve really enjoyed doing this work, and I’ve been thinking of what I’m going to do with the series after it has been shown in October. I might do a painting a day blog, and try and sell these things off.

One I like.

Within the Long Series I’ve found other small series of paintings that are tied together with related motifs. This is one such group. I really like this sequence of paintings, and I wonder what it would be like if I used them as studies for a series of larger paintings. Maybe ten paintings 48×48 inches would be an interesting project.
