Saturday afternoon studio photograph.

April has been a disappointment, and shouldn’t be considered a proper month. I did manage to get some busy work done. I put backing papers and wire on a few framed paintings. I battled and lost with a painting that got out of hand, and I picked up a few scraps of paper that littered the studio floor…and our car came down with a bad case of flat tire. It rained, and it snowed, and my daughter woke me up at 5. However Jane made some great oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! So it’s been a great day really.

Tonight’s photograph was taken using the blue point setting on my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. Why, you might ask, do you need a blue point setting? I really don’t have a clue why I need a blue point setting, but I feel safe and secure knowing I have it.

Wednesday studio photograph. Green point.

I’m still experimenting with the camera on my Samsung phone. It’s a handy device to have in my studio for taking quick snaps to upload to my blog. This studio photograph was taken using the green point setting.

Studio negative in a positive light.

I’ve been enjoying my new Samsung phone, and I’m impressed by how nice the camera is. One thing I’ve been toying with are the various special effects, and my favourite so far is the negative setting.
