Artist Statement
“The foundation for my paintings has developed around a platform of structure, line, balance and color as defined by simplicity. The element of abstract within my work further defines my ideas. In 2003 I began a series of figurative abstracts that define my idea of simplicity and its consideration for honesty.” HB
